Marella Carniero Ribeiro Vieira, Assistant Manager

Oxfam's Brazil office links up with local partners on a wide range of issues. We work with policy-makers to ensure small farmers are given the right support. We focus attention on the role of women, and promote equal access to land and resources. And we're involved in research, lobbying, campaigning - the list goes on.

At the moment, we're focused on the GROW campaign, promoting changes in the way food is produced and consumed, to make the system fairer and healthier. We were previously involved in the huge, successful campaign to include the 'right to food' in the Brazilian constitution, so we know change is possible."
